DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., ship's clock, 8 day, time and ship's strike, jeweled movement with lever escapement in a brass case with 5.5 inch silvered dial and blued steel Breguet hands, all in a mahogany cradle.
CONDITION:
brass case has some darkening of the lacquer, especially around the bezel. Silvered dial is very good. Hands are original. Movement ticks and strikes, but was not tested long term. Signed movement is stamped with serial number 607727.
